Bandai Namco Entertainment has dropped a sizzling trailer for Tekken 8's Season 2, starring the ever-stylish Anna Williams. The trailer showcases her updated moveset, fresh character skins, and a captivating new intro sequence – featuring a special cutscene if her sister, Nina, is the opponent.
Anna Williams will be the inaugural character of Season 2, launching March 31st for those who snagged the Character Year 2 Pass. Everyone else can get their hands on her starting April 3rd.
The trailer also tantalizingly hints at the future of Tekken 8, promising a steady stream of content throughout 2025 and into early 2026:
- Summer 2025: A brand-new fighter and a fresh arena.
- Fall 2025: Another exciting new fighter joins the fray.
- Winter 2025/2026: A final new fighter and arena will round out the year.
In other exciting news, Bandai Namco revealed that Tekken 8 has already surpassed 3 million copies sold! This impressive sales figure significantly outpaces the initial launch of its predecessor. Tekken 7, for comparison, has sold over 12 million copies to date.
Tekken 8 is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam), having launched on January 26th, 2024.
