Rome boasts Italy's largest video game museum! GAMM, the Game Museum, has officially opened its doors to the public in Piazza della Repubblica. The brainchild of Marco Accordi Rickards – author, journalist, professor, and CEO of Vigamus – GAMM is a testament to Rickards' passion for preserving and celebrating video game history. He describes the museum as an immersive journey blending historical context, technological innovation, and interactive gameplay.
GAMM's creation builds upon the legacy of Vigamus, another successful Rome-based gaming museum that has attracted over two million visitors since 2012.
This expansive new museum, covering 700 square meters across two floors, is organized into three captivating thematic sections. Before we delve into the details, take a peek at the museum!
