The Genshin Impact quest, "Vaulting the Wall of Morning Mist," triggers the "Adventure in the Land of Mists" quest upon completion. This involves assisting Bona in locating the Altar of Primal Flame.
Bona guides the Traveler to the Cradle of Fleeting Dreams fortress in Ochkanatlan's northwest. After defeating the Tenebrous Mimiflora ambush, activating a mechanism completes this quest, automatically starting "Palace of the Vision Serpent." This requires purifying the Abyssal Blight in Chu'ulel's Core.
Clearing the Abyssal Corruption:
To cleanse the Abyssal Corruption, follow these steps:
- Retrieve the Radiant Fragment from the platform.
- Place it on the nearby Radiant Pillar to dispel the Abyssal Blight.
- Defeat the spawned enemy.
- Proceed to the Core of Chu'ulel: Interior's northern section.
Next:
- Obtain the Radiant Fragment near the broken bridge.
- Place it on the adjacent Radiant Pillar.
- Descend through the floor opening.
- Acquire the Rust-Spotted Key from the library (near the jar).
- Activate the elevator mechanism.
- Ascend via the elevator.
- Retrieve the previously placed Radiant Fragment.
- Place it on the southwestern Radiant Pillar.
- Head east.
Continue:
- Utilize the Rust-Spotted Key to activate the mechanism and remove the seal.
- Collect the two Radiant Fragments behind the unsealed wall.
- Place them on the northwestern Radiant Pillar to activate the elevator.
- Obtain the Pyroculus.
- Activate the elevator to descend.
- Collect the two Radiant Fragments (one from the elevator, one from the pillar near the door).
- Use the nearby mechanism to open the door.
- Go southeast.
- Place the final two Radiant Fragments.
This clears the Abyssal Blight, dropping the Chu'ulel Light Core.
Completing "Palace of the Vision Serpent":
- Protect the fallen Light Core from enemies.
- Return to Bona at the Cradle of Fleeting Dreams fortress.
- Speak with Bona.
Quest rewards include 50 Primogems, A Nameless Adventurer’s Notes, a Pyrophosphorite, and a Luxurious chest.
