Genshin Impact Player Unearths Citlali’s Humble Abode
South of the Masters of the Night-Wind
A dedicated Genshin Impact player, known as Medkit-OW, made an intriguing discovery that was shared on Reddit on December 26, 2024. The player's attention was caught by a specific scene in Citlali’s Character Teaser video on YouTube, where Citlali is seen reading a book by the light of a half-opened door, inadvertently revealing a cliff from Natlan’s scenic landscape.
After meticulously exploring the Tezcatepetonco Range, Medkit-OW successfully located Citlali’s house, positioned south of the Masters of the Night-Wind. Eager to share this find, he posted the location on Reddit, suggesting that pulling for Citlali at this spot might bring good fortune. Although the game's mechanics do not support location-based pull rates, many players on the thread embraced the idea for its sentimental value. One user remarked, "Even if it doesn’t affect results, it’s still a sentimental memory to pull a character in locations significant to them." Other players also shared their strategies for maximizing their chances of obtaining Citlali and Mavuika, another anticipated character.
Currently, players can visit Citlali’s house, though interaction and entry are not yet available. Some have noted that the graffiti on her door, visible in the teaser video, has not been added to the game's current version.
Citlali and Mavuika will be available for players to obtain from January 1, 2025, to January 21, 2025, during Phase 1 of Version 5.3.
