To participate, ensure you've reached Adventure Rank 20 and completed the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue. While not mandatory, completing Xianyun's Story Quest "Grus Serena Chapter" enhances the event's narrative context.
Gameplay Mechanics:
The event features five beetle battles within a Teapot simulation on Mt. Aocang. Control your Onikabuto using simple forward, backward, and jump mechanics. Mastering timing and stamina management is key, as movement and attacks consume stamina. Powerful Piercing Strikes require holding the attack button.
Battling the Beetles:
Here's a breakdown of each stage's opponent and strategy:
- Stage 1: A basic Hilichurl. Repeated head strikes are effective. Dodge its attacks indicated by ground markings.
- Stage 2: A Hilichurl Berserker with a Pyro Slime. Target its head and exploit the Slime's vulnerability, especially during its throw animation.
- Stage 3: A Pyro Abyss Mage. Interrupt its spellcasting, then unleash a flurry of attacks.
- Stage 4: A Cryo Abyss Mage. Employ the same strategy as the Pyro Abyss Mage.
- Stage 5: A Stonehide Lawachurl. Focus on swift attacks, dodging its varied moves. A Geo Slime will appear; use a Piercing Strike for significant damage.
Difficulty Selection and Co-op:
Choose the "Focused Fight" (two-star) difficulty for optimal Primogem rewards (30-20 per stage). "Utmost Might" (three-star) unlocks after completing "Focused Fight," offering Mora and Enhancement Ores but no Primogems. Utilize Piercing Strikes strategically. Consult the "Dossier on Opponent" for enemy behavior insights. Co-op mode allows teaming up with other players via the "Match" option.
