The Signal Redirector isn't something you'll stumble upon easily in *Atomfall*. Unlike other items like the Metal Detector, which might be found on a corpse or purchased from a trader, the Signal Redirector is tied to a specific location and character—Dr. Diane Garrow, a former B.A.R.D scientist.
Your journey to obtain it begins in Wyndham Village, where you'll pick up a lead on Dr. Garrow's whereabouts. From there, you must embark on a rescue mission to the Protocol prison camp in Skethermoor, where she is being held captive. Reaching the camp is no small feat, as it's heavily guarded by Protocol soldiers.

To ease your infiltration, consider meeting Captain Grant Sims in Wyndham Village first. By assisting him with tasks like recovering stolen items, you can gain favor with Protocol, making your journey into the camp less perilous.
Once ready, head to the Protocol prison camp located on the southernmost border of Skethermoor. The entrance to the underground prison is at the end of the southernmost road, marked by a large green door.
Inside, the prison is divided into multiple levels. You'll need to navigate through these, evading or eliminating guards and robots. Remember, B.A.R.D robots can be disabled to obtain **Atomic Batteries**, essential for The Interchange.

Developed by Dr. Garrow herself, the Signal Redirector serves as a hacking tool. It functions by rerouting power within yellow junction boxes to different sources, enabling you to disable security systems or unlock storage rooms.
Similar to the Metal Detector, the Signal Redirector will alert you with an icon at the bottom of your screen when a hackable junction box is nearby. Follow the direction indicated by the device's needle, and the junction box will be highlighted when you're close enough.
To hack, simply select the 'Hack' button to reroute the junction box's power. If needed, you can reverse the process by hacking the junction box again.
