In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, the side quest "Hush, My Darling" begins in Miskowitz, a village in the Kuttenberg Region, located to the west of Kuttenberg City. This quest is a great opportunity to showcase your blacksmithing skills.
How to Finish "Hush, My Darling" in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Speak with Martha
To start, head to the southeast section of Miskowitz where you'll find Martha in the house connected to the village forge. Upon entering, ask Martha if she needs any help. She'll mention needing someone skilled in blacksmithing. Respond with, "I’m a blacksmith! I’d be glad to help," to officially begin the "Hush, My Darling" side quest.
If you're yet to complete related tasks, you can also speak with the bailiff about Matthew from the Dry Devil's group. The bailiff is conveniently located next to Martha, making it easy to find her using his marker.
Craft Horseshoes

You need two Farmer’s Horseshoes, which you could have crafted earlier to level up your blacksmithing skills. If not, you'll need two pieces of Scrap Metal and access to the forge. Once you've crafted the horseshoes, return them to Martha.
Find Victoria

Inspect the blood when prompted during "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. After your investigation, return to Martha and report your findings. She suggests that you look for Victoria at Sigismund’s camp.

Sigismund’s Camp
Screenshot by The Escapist. Head south of Opatowitz to find Sigismund’s camp. If you're also searching for Matthew from the Dry Devil questline, you might encounter him on the path leading to the camp. Once at the camp, locate the blacksmith and inquire about Victoria. He mentions that a soldier named Black showed interest in her. To find Black, head to the infirmary tent where he's currently ill.
Screenshot by The Escapist. Black requires a Digestive Potion to treat his food poisoning before he'll assist you. If you don't have one, craft it and return to give it to him. Wait a couple of hours for the potion to take effect before he'll share information.
Black reveals that he spoke to Victoria, suggesting she might have gone into the woods to the east. Follow the quest marker on your map to find her sitting on a stump. Victoria is upset, so engage in conversation with her about the situation. Your dialogue choices here won't impact future events, but if you made Black promise to look after Victoria, you can pass on that message to her, giving her hope.
Completing this conversation with Victoria concludes the "Hush, My Darling" side quest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. From here, you can proceed with the main quests or explore other side quests like "In Vino Veritas."
