How to Beat Nerscylla in Monster Hunter Wilds
Nerscylla's weaknesses include Fire and Thunder (especially when its mantle is broken), but it's resistant to Sleep and completely immune to Sonic Bombs. This agile spider uses its web to ensnare you, poison you with its bite, and even put you to sleep with its rear stinger. To counter these status effects, always carry antidotes for poison and energy drinks to ward off sleep.
When it comes to its attacks, there are two major types you need to be wary of: bite attacks and web attacks. The bite or pincer attack is signaled by Nerscylla rearing back with its orange fangs protruding, followed by a forward charge to slam them shut. This attack not only poisons you but also inflicts significant damage. To evade, position yourself behind it or simply run away swiftly.
Nerscylla's web attacks are equally dangerous. It can shoot webs directly at you or in a spread pattern of three. Being hit by these will immobilize you, so dodge to avoid getting stuck.
