Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 8: A Deep Dive into New Features and Updates!
Get ready for a whirlwind of changes in Hearthstone's latest Battlegrounds season! Season 8 introduces exciting new features, heroes, and minions, alongside some much-needed adjustments for veteran players. Let's explore the highlights!
The biggest addition? Trinkets! These power-ups add a whole new layer of strategy. You'll find 56 Lesser Trinkets and 60 Greater Trinkets, with some offering multiple benefits. These become available on turns 6 and 9, presenting four choices influenced by your hero and current board composition.
Meet Marin the Manager, the new hero joining the fray! Marin gives you a significant advantage by allowing you to acquire a Trinket a turn earlier than usual.
Season 8 also brings a minion refresh. While 41 minions are rotating out, 22 fan favorites are returning, joined by 27 brand-new minions and 2 exciting Tavern spells. Four new cards are also making their debut:
- Free Travel Winner (Tier 2): A 2/2 minion that disappears after combat, rewarding you with a Triple Reward.
- Inspiring Underdog (Tier 4): Boosts your lower-tier minions.
- Lucky Egg (Tier 5): Transforms into a Golden Tier 3 minion.
- Sun Screener (Tier 6): A 10/1 minion granting Divine Shield to your three leftmost minions and your opponent's.
