If you're a fan of Japanese music, you're probably familiar with HYDE, the artist who has graced Madison Square Garden and sold over 40 million records. Now, he takes the spotlight in an exciting new endless runner game, Hyde Run, which has just launched globally.
Initially released in Japan, Hyde Run is now accessible to players around the world. The game's developer and publisher, Phoenixx, aims to offer global fans a unique way to engage with HYDE’s illustrious career through a game packed with nods to his musical journey.
Move, Jump or Slide in Hyde Run
In Hyde Run, you'll navigate through a dynamic environment that blends a concert stage with a futuristic Tokyo. As HYDE, you'll embark on a thrilling chase across Neo Tokyo, skillfully dodging obstacles, wall-running past vibrant billboards, and collecting musical notes.
The game's atmosphere is distinctly neon-and-noise, setting it apart from typical endless runners. Hyde Run infuses the genre with the energy of a guitar solo and fan-centric details that pay homage to HYDE's unique style.
As you race through the city, you can grab various power-ups. These include magnets that attract notes to you and barriers that protect against damage.
Before each run, you can use items to enhance your performance. Activate a Note Gain to collect more notes or choose a Barrier to avoid tripping on obstacles.
Collecting crystals in the game allows you to unlock exclusive outfits and room items from HYDE's extensive career. Additionally, by unlocking the Microphone Stand, you can access voice clips directly from HYDE.

Currently, there's a wealth of limited-time content available until June 10th, 2025. The THE LAST ROCKSTARS Costume Set dresses HYDE in the iconic look from the music video, complete with matching ROCK Furniture such as leopard prints, vintage trunks, and stage spotlights.
For a more relaxed vibe, the Bat Jinbei Costume Set offers a summer-festival-inspired look. Alternatively, the Japanese-style furniture set includes traditional elements like bamboo, bonboris, and a wind chime designed after HYDE’s Edyh character.
