Starting at the Bronze rank, players can work their way up through the ranks by selecting from an expansive roster of over thirty characters, categorized into three roles: Strategist, Duelist, and Vanguard. Each win in Competitive Play contributes points toward progression through the rank divisions.
As players climb the ranks during a Competitive Season, they become eligible for seasonal rewards. These rewards include cosmetic skins for specific characters and Crests of Honor, which are emblems that can be displayed on your profile to showcase your highest achieved ranks. In Season 1 - Eternal Night Falls, one of the featured rewards is the Blood Shield skin for the new Strategist character, Invisible Woman.
How to Get Invisible Woman's Blood Shield Skin For Free in Marvel Rivals
Season 1 - Eternal Night Falls brought significant updates to Marvel Rivals, including enhancements to the Competitive Play feature. A new rank, Celestial, was introduced between Grandmaster and Eternity, offering three tiers for players to conquer, similar to previous ranks. In addition to hero adjustments, the new season introduced seasonal rewards, such as S2 Crest variants for those reaching Grandmaster and above, and the coveted Blood Shield skin for Invisible Woman.
To earn the Blood Shield skin for Invisible Woman, players must reach the rank of Gold III or higher during the competitive season. Importantly, these seasonal rewards are based on your peak rank, not your final rank at the end of the season. This means that even if you drop below Gold III after reaching it, you will still be eligible for the Blood Shield skin. However, you won't receive this reward until the end of the current Competitive Season, with the skin becoming available in your Invisible Woman cosmetics gallery at the start of Marvel Rivals Season 3.
