
Ezio Auditore, Assassin's Creed's Iconic Protagonist, Wins Ubisoft Japan's Character Awards!
Ubisoft Japan's 30th-anniversary celebration culminated in a character popularity contest, and the results are in! Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the beloved protagonist of several Assassin's Creed titles, has claimed the top spot. This online competition, running from November 1st, 2024, allowed fans to vote for their three favorite characters across Ubisoft's extensive game library.
To celebrate Ezio's victory, Ubisoft Japan has unveiled a special webpage featuring unique artwork of the character. Furthermore, four free digital wallpapers (for PC and smartphones) showcasing Ezio are available for download. A lucky 30 fans will receive an exclusive Ezio acrylic stand set, while 10 others will win a sizable 180cm Ezio body pillow.

The top ten characters, as revealed on Ubisoft Japan's website and X (formerly Twitter), are:
- Ezio Auditore da Firenze (Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood, Liberation)
- Aiden Pearce (Watch Dogs)
- Edward James Kenway (Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag)
- Bayek (Assassin's Creed Origins)

- Wrench (Watch Dogs)
- Pagan Min (Far Cry)
- Eivor Varinsdottir (Assassin's Creed Valhalla)

In a separate poll, the Assassin's Creed franchise also secured first place, surpassing Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs. The Division and Far Cry series followed in fourth and fifth place respectively.
