Metro Quester – Hack & Slash has just launched on Android, offering a fresh take on the traditional KEMCO JRPG formula. This turn-based game dives deep into the gritty, old-school dungeon crawler genre, providing a unique experience for RPG enthusiasts.
Seek the Truth of a Lost World
In Metro Quester, you join a group of scavengers navigating underground ruins to meet a weekly food quota of 100 units within seven in-game days. Your mission takes you through monster-filled areas like Otemachi and Ginza, where you must scavenge for resources and fight to survive. Importantly, you can only level up once you return safely to a camp, assuming you've gathered enough supplies.
Choose from 24 distinct characters, each belonging to one of eight unique classes. Your success depends on how you customize your combo skills, weapons, and strategies. Each action you take consumes action points, with a limit of five points per turn and a single use per ability, making strategic planning crucial.
As you explore the dungeon, it unfolds around you. You may uncover food hidden in the dirt, encounter monster nests, find keys to unlock new sections, or discover potential new campsites to establish as your base.
Metro Quester – Hack & Slash Is Now Out on Android
The visual style of Metro Quester is intentionally minimalistic, with a bleak and colorless environment that starkly contrasts with the vibrant appearance of your team. For a closer look at the game, check out the official trailer below.
