Today marks the global release of Alphadia III on Android, serving as the highly anticipated third installment in the Alphadia series. Published by KEMCO and crafted by EXE CREATE, this RPG journey made its debut in Japan last October.
Unfolding the Narrative in Alphadia III
In the year 970 of the Alphadian calendar, the world teeters on the brink of collapse amid the escalating Energi War—a colossal struggle centered around the enigmatic life force known as energi. Divided into three major factions—the Schwarzschild Empire in the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom in the west, and the Luminea Alliance in the east—the stage is set for chaos and conflict.
Enter Alfonso, a clone soldier whose existence takes a dramatic turn when a young girl named Tarte visits him with devastating news: a fellow clone has perished. This revelation sets Alfonso on a path that will reshape the fate of the world.
Dive into the Gameplay
Alphadia III embraces a traditional turn-based combat system from a side-view perspective, adorned with retro-inspired pixel art aesthetics. A key feature of the game is SP Skills, abilities that accumulate power during battles and can alter the tide of war when unleashed at the perfect moment.
Arrays, another integral part of the gameplay, are strategic battle formations that unlock progressively throughout your adventure. These formations offer diverse tactics tailored to the challenges ahead.
A standout innovation is the Energi Crock, a resource management system where you deposit items during exploration. Over time, it produces Energi Elements, which can be exchanged for equipment and rewards at special shops.
Players will encounter various factions, such as Deval, a peacekeeping alliance, and elite military divisions like Rosenkreutz from Nordsheim. Additionally, the game features distinct energi clone models, including the Berger Series from Nordsheim and the Delta Series from Schwarzschild.
Beyond the gripping main storyline, Alphadia III offers extensive side quests and is optimized for controller use. The game is available on the Google Play Store for $7.99, with a freemium version also accessible on Android featuring advertisements.
