How to Begin Battle of Frogs and Mice in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
The side quest becomes available after completing either the Mice or Frogs quests for Prochek or Olbram. Speak with Prochek in Tachov or Olbram in Zhelejov to initiate the quest, then proceed to the designated pasture.
Choosing Between Prochek and Olbram
Henry faces another choice between siding with Prochek or Olbram, though reconciliation is possible:
- Support Prochek by telling him "Let's show those Zhelejovites!" in Tachov
- Support Olbram by saying "Let's teach those Tachovites!" in Zhelejov
Avoid mediating during their pasture confrontation - instead, pass dialogue checks to make the fight easier by causing opponents to flee.
Resolving the Conflict Peacefully
To achieve reconciliation:
- Discuss ending the feud with either Prochek or Olbram before going to the pasture
- Visit Baliff Thrush in Troskowitz and select "You'd finally have some peace"
- Successfully pass dialogue checks or sneak into the scribe's room
- Review the Troskowitz Chronicle and inform the scribe: "Fecit, ordinem in regione ope clavi ferrei"
- Locate three oak trees in the pasture and examine the middle tree for a nail
Nail placement options:
- Middle tree: Equal pasture division
- West tree: Favors Tachov
- East tree: Favors Zhelejov
Complete the process by:
- Consulting Baliff Thrush to finalize the agreement
- Bringing Prochek or Olbram to the pasture
