Navigating the Dungeon
The game features a dungeon filled with treasures guarded by monsters. Players manage a grid of colored tiles: blue adventurer tiles, yellow treasure tiles, and red monster tiles. Unlike its predecessor, Levels II introduces a system where tile color and level are directly influenced by player actions. Defeating a red monster tile, for example, will often reveal a yellow treasure tile.
Strategic Depth
Levels II is more than just merging tiles. It demands strategic thinking. While the core mechanics of merging blue tiles, collecting yellow tiles, and battling red tiles remain, the path to victory requires careful planning and resource management. Familiar elements like the Thunder Stone (for when you're stuck) and hidden panels with unique patterns are also present, adding to the replayability.
