Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown

Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown was the first map to be introduced in Marvel Rivals Season 1, launching at the start of the season. Designed for the Convoy mode, this map challenges players to either escort or stop a moving vehicle as it travels across the map. It's the third Convoy map in Rivals, joining Yggsgard: Yggdrasill Path and Tokyo 2099: Spider-Islands.
Set under the eerie glow of Dracula’s Blood Moon, Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown transforms New York City into a dark, thrilling battleground. Key points of interest include iconic Marvel locations and real-world Midtown Manhattan landmarks:
- Baxter Building
- Grand Central Terminal
- Stark/Avengers Tower
- Fisk Tower
- Ardmore’s Bookstore
- Timely Trend
Empire of Eternal Night: The Mystical Sanctum Santorum

The Empire of Eternal Night version of Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Santorum was added to Marvel Rivals in Season 1. This map is uniquely designed for the Doom Match mode, a free-for-all deathmatch where players battle to survive and eliminate others. The top half of the leaderboard earns wins, with the overall best player receiving the MVP title.
The Sanctum Santorum in Rivals is a stunning representation of Doctor Strange’s mystical mansion, serving as both his home and headquarters. Introduced in a 1963 comic and famous in the MCU, this version of the Sanctum Santorum in New York City acts as Earth’s supernatural defense in the game. Players can explore hidden secrets, easter eggs, and supernatural rooms with portals and an infinite staircase, and even interact with Bats The Ghost Dog.
Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park

Set to launch in the second half of Marvel Rivals Season 1, the Central Park map is shrouded in mystery. Located in Manhattan’s Upper West and East Sides, Central Park has been a staple in various Marvel stories, most recently in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 video game.
In Marvel Rivals, the Central Park map will feature a stylized version of the real-world Belvedere Castle, positioned at one of the park's highest points. This Gothic-inspired structure will perfectly fit the Empire of Eternal Night theme and could serve as a strategic hideout for Dracula within the city.
These are all the new maps introduced in Marvel Rivals Season 1, each offering unique gameplay experiences and immersive settings within the Marvel Universe.
