Curious about the origins of the Avengers or what Odin was up to before Thor and Loki came into the picture? And who exactly is Agamotto, the first Sorcerer Supreme? Marvel Snap's latest season, Prehistoric Avengers, dives into these fascinating backstories and more, bringing you closer to the ancient roots of your favorite Marvel characters.
While it's not the first time we've encountered these prehistoric versions of the Avengers, they're now available in card form within Marvel Snap. From the very first Black Panther to the original Phoenix host, Firehair, and even Agamotto himself, these cards come with complex yet powerful abilities that can give you an edge in the game.
Agamotto introduces a brand new card type: Skills. These cards represent actions and abilities rather than characters. When played, Skills cards are Banished—meaning they're gone for good—and while they have no Power, they cost less Energy to play, making them a strategic addition to your deck.
But the excitement doesn't stop there. Marvel Snap's latest season also introduces two new locations: the Star Brand crater, which grants additional energy if you have the highest power there, and the Celestial Burial Ground, where you can discard a card and replace it with one of the same cost.
In addition to these new features, the season brings new Spotlight Caches, showcasing top-level cards, both old and new. You'll also find variant card art and the return of the High Voltage mode, which amps up the pace of your Marvel Snap matches.
