Metaphor: ReFantazio fans have a new reason to celebrate as the first chapter of the official manga adaptation is now available to read for free. Launched on the MANGA Plus website, this exciting adaptation is a collaboration between Atlus and the renowned manga publisher Shueisha, with illustrations by acclaimed Japanese manga author Yōichi Amano, known for works like Akaboshi: Ibun Suikoden and Stealth Symphony.
The manga introduces some creative changes from the original video game narrative, offering a fresh perspective on the story. Key modifications in the first chapter include the omission of certain introductory scenes and the introduction of new events not seen in the game. The timeline of the protagonist's journey and the way he encounters his allies have also been restructured. Notably, the protagonist's name is officially confirmed as Will in the manga, aligning with the default name provided in the game.
