Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Returning and Improved Features
Peep Demo Theater Returns
The ESRB has recently rated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta), confirming its M for Mature rating and revealing the return of the Peep Demo Theater. This feature, initially introduced in the Subsistence and HD Collection versions of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, allows players to view all cutscenes featuring the female spy EVA in her underwear. Players can manipulate the camera freely, zooming in on any part of her body. To unlock this feature, players need to collect all other cutscenes in the Demo Theater, which requires completing the game four times.
While the M rating aligns with the game's theme of violence and gore, as players navigate behind enemy lines as an elite soldier, the return of the Peep Demo Theater—often referred to as "Creepy mode"—was unexpected due to its controversial nature.
Faster Camouflage System
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater introduces a streamlined camouflage system, as announced by METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on Twitter (X) on March 28. The post, accompanied by a video, showcased a new feature allowing players to change camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more in less than three seconds. This improvement is a significant enhancement over the original Metal Gear Solid 3, where changing camouflage was a slow process involving multiple menu navigations, which often disrupted the game's flow, especially during stealth missions.
As the release date of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater approaches on August 26, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, fans are eagerly anticipating the blend of nostalgic elements and quality-of-life improvements that promise to enhance their gaming experience.
