Marvel's Moon Knight: Future Appearances Confirmed, Season 2 Unlikely
While a second season of Moon Knight on Disney+ is off the table, Marvel Studios head Brad Winderbaum confirmed to ComicBook that Oscar Isaac's character will return to the MCU in some capacity. This shift in strategy stems from a change in Marvel Television's approach.
Previously, Marvel Television focused on establishing characters through individual series before integrating them into larger MCU projects, as seen with Ms. Marvel. However, the current approach prioritizes self-contained, annual releases, mirroring traditional television scheduling.
Winderbaum explained, "Moon Knight was part of a wave of shows establishing characters for future tie-ins. Moving forward, our priorities have shifted to shows that can exist as annual releases, more like television. I'd love a Season 2, but there are Moon Knight plans down the road."
Isaac's voice work as Moon Knight in Marvel's What If...? demonstrates his continued involvement with the character. However, details regarding his future live-action appearances remain undisclosed.

The upcoming MCU Disney+ slate includes Daredevil: Born Again (March), Ironheart (June), Eyes of Wakanda (August), Marvel Zombies (October), and Wonder Man (December).
Recently, Marvel Television reportedly paused production on Nova, Strange Academy, and Terror, Inc. However, Winderbaum indicated that the possibility of a Defenders reunion, featuring Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist, is being explored.
