The LEGO Nintendo collaborations have already yielded some fantastic sets, like last year's dynamic Mario and Yoshi set and the groundbreaking first LEGO Legend of Zelda creation. However, the vast Nintendo universe offers countless other iconic franchises ripe for the LEGO treatment. While we currently enjoy a wide selection of Mario sets (including Donkey Kong) and several Animal Crossing options, many beloved franchises remain untapped.

What Do You Think?
With the upcoming Switch 2, excitement for the next generation of Nintendo is at fever pitch. We can likely expect more LEGO Nintendo sets as Nintendo invests further in film (the new Mario movie and the eventual live-action Zelda adaptation) and upcoming Switch games. Which franchises do you think will inspire LEGO sets in 2025 and beyond? Share your thoughts in the comments!
Personally, I believe Metroid would yield incredibly cool LEGO sets. With *Metroid Prime 4* on the horizon, it's the perfect time for some stunning builds. Additionally, I'd love to see genuine LEGO Pokémon sets, rather than the existing MEGA sets, though I understand the licensing complexities between Mattel and The Pokémon Company might make this unlikely.
