A new studio, Reburn, established by key developers from 4A Games, has announced its first project: La Quimera, a first-person shooter.
Staying true to their roots, Reburn delivers another FPS experience, but this time immersed in a science fiction setting. The game is situated in a near-future, high-tech Latin America. Players assume the role of a Private Military Company soldier, equipped with an exoskeleton, engaging in intense battles against a local organization. These dynamic conflicts unfold across lush jungles and a vibrant metropolis.
Reburn promises a compelling narrative and deeply immersive gameplay, playable solo or cooperatively with up to three players. Adding to the intrigue, the script and setting are crafted by Nicolas Winding Refn (renowned for Drive and The Neon Demon) and E.J.A. Warren.
La Quimera is slated for release on PC (Steam), though a release date remains unannounced.
