This collaboration promises a fresh wave of exclusive content, including new skins for popular heroes like Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari. Fans can also look forward to recolored versions of the skins from the previous event, featuring LE SSERAFIM-themed looks for Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte, all available for purchase. While the unique Concert Clash mode from the last event won't be making a comeback, players can still engage with the game through exciting in-game challenges. Completing these challenges offers a chance to earn the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin.
In an interview with Polygon on March 11, Aimee Denett, Overwatch's Associate Director of Product Management, shared insights into the collaboration. "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that’s celebrating their new album," Denett said. She highlighted the inclusion of a visualizer for one of the new songs from the album and emphasized the extensive range of cosmetics designed for this event, underlining the celebration of K-pop culture within Overwatch 2.
The Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM collaboration will run from March 18 to March 31, 2025.
