How to Get Dark Fragments

Dark Fragments are exclusively found on Feybreak Island and are dropped by Dark-elemental Pals. Unlike other regions, Pals on the outer beaches and gravel areas of Feybreak are predominantly ground and water types. To find Dark-elemental Pals, venture further inland. Note that some Pals, like Starryon, are only found at night unless they are boss variants.

Capturing or defeating these Pals (using Ultimate or Exotic Spheres is recommended) yields 1-3 Dark Fragments per encounter. The drop isn't guaranteed, but diligent hunting will provide a sufficient supply.
