Paramount is currently streaming Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning on its YouTube channel… in Morse Code.
Many viewers flocked to the Paramount Movies YouTube channel today after it teased that it would stream the latest Tom Cruise action movie in full. However, those tuning into the broadcast won’t see Ethan Hunt’s globe-trotting adventures. Instead, they'll encounter a knife, a radio, and a lot of beeps and dashes.
They're broadcasting the script in Morse code, so technically it's real.

“A secure livestream of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is currently running," says the stream description from Paramount. "But the Entity has infiltrated all major streaming platforms, so this livestream was compromised. We had to transmit the full script in Morse Code to avoid detection. We need your help decoding it."
This is a direct Morse code translation of the Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning script, so the stream is set to be very, very long—matching the film's two-hour-and-50-minute runtime. While not all of the roughly 700 listeners may decode every syllable, they appear to be enjoying the experience so far.
“I love this part!” joked one fan in the comments.
“This has to have been Cruise’s idea,” another added.
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning’s Morse code premiere is certainly a creative way to mark its digital release. The eighth Mission: Impossible film starring Tom Cruise became available on platforms like Amazon Prime Video yesterday, letting audiences catch the latest chapter after its theatrical debut in May. It’s not on Paramount+ yet, but at least you can listen to it until then, right?
Paramount’s Morse Code cabin refers to a similar snowy cabin in the film. Don’t expect Ethan Hunt and the team to appear anytime soon, though—this stream looks like it will continue for a while.
