Metaphor: ReFantazio Party Member Recruitment Guide: A Detailed Timeline
Beyond the protagonist, seven companions will join your adventure in Metaphor: ReFantazio, each contributing unique combat skills. While Gallica is present from the start, her combat role is limited. This guide details the precise day each party member joins, noting that some later additions may be considered spoilers.

Party Member Recruitment Schedule:
Each party member awakens to a unique Archetype, usable by any party member thereafter. Early recruits may initially be AI-controlled before gaining full player control upon Archetype awakening.

Strohl (Warrior): Joins on June 5th during the Border Fort events. Awakens and becomes fully controllable on June 6th in the Nord Mines.

Grius: Joins after the Border Fort events but becomes a combatant on June 6th, after Strohl's awakening. Grius does not undergo an Archetype awakening.

Hulkenberg (Knight): Begins interacting with the party on June 10th. Awakens and joins the party fully on June 11th, during a boss fight.

Heismay (Thief): Appears during free time in Martira. Awakens and joins the party on July 4th within the town's main dungeon.

Junah (Masked Dancer): A recurring character who awakens and joins the party on August 13th.

Eupha (Summoner): Her recruitment is flexible. She joins during the Dragon Temple Dungeon on Viraga Island (August 19th - September 4th). The day you complete the dungeon is the day she joins for the final boss. Her Bond quest, however, begins after the deadline.

Basilio (Berserker): Awakens and joins the party on September 11th during Saint's Day events. Combat usage is available the following day.
