Mackenyu Arata as Gennojo: A Key Ally

Mackenyu will provide both the Japanese and English voice acting for Gennojo. Ubisoft describes Gennojo as a captivating and complex character: a charming rogue with a mischievous streak, driven by a strong sense of justice and a desire to reform a corrupt system. He's described as a flirtatious trickster, balancing wit and deceit, and willing to risk everything to achieve his goals, particularly when it comes to aiding the vulnerable.
While the exact timing of Gennojo's appearance in the game remains undisclosed, his role as a significant figure in key missions is confirmed. According to Mackenyu, Gennojo is a member of the "Shinobi League," and players will essentially be able to recruit him as a companion throughout their adventure.
