Today marks a special occasion as it's Earth Day, and Pikmin Bloom has devised an exciting way to celebrate through the Party Walk event. This time, instead of focusing on taking extra steps, the event encourages you to plant more flowers. If you're a fan of Niantic’s augmented reality, location-based game, you won't want to miss out on this unique event.
When Is the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk?
The Pikmin Bloom Party Walk, themed around Earth Day, is scheduled from April 22nd to April 30th. During this period, rather than tracking your steps, the game will count the number of flowers you plant. Each flower you contribute adds to the global total, making every bloom significant.
The event perfectly aligns with the spirit of Earth Day, promoting more greenery and a sense of purpose. Pikmin Bloom is making the effort rewarding and fun. Depending on the collective efforts of all players and the total number of flowers planted, participants can unlock special weather-themed Decor Pikmin from Huge Seedlings.
Here's what you can achieve: if the community reaches a total of 500 million flowers, everyone participating will receive a Huge Seedling that grows into a Leaf Hat Decor Pikmin. If the total hits 1 billion flowers, you'll unlock a Snow Decor Pikmin. And if players collectively plant 1.5 billion flowers, you'll earn a Huge Seedling for a Present Sticker (Gold) Decor Pikmin, specifically for White Pikmin.
But Keep This in Mind
To ensure your flowers contribute to the event, you must join the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk. Make sure your app is updated to version 117 and that you're properly signed up. If you haven't yet, download the game from the Google Play Store.
To help make planting flowers even easier, everyone participating will receive a promo code. Remember, all types of flowers count towards the goal, so don't worry about planting any specific kind. Just get out there and start blooming.
