Pokémon GO's Adventure Week 2024: A Fossil Frenzy!
Get ready for another exciting Adventure Week in Pokémon GO, running from Friday, August 2nd at 10 am to Monday, August 12th! This year's event focuses on Rock-type and Fossil Pokémon, offering ample opportunities to catch these powerful prehistoric creatures.
What to Expect:
Prepare for boosted wild encounters of Rock-type Pokémon like Diglett and Bunnelby, and a significantly increased chance of encountering Shiny Aerodactyl! These ancient Pokémon will also hatch from 7 km Eggs and appear in event-themed Field Research tasks. The 7 km Eggs will also contain Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, and Amaura. Completing these Field Research tasks also yields encounters with these Pokémon, plus valuable rewards like Aerodactyl Mega Energy.
Adventure Week also doubles your XP from PokéStop spins, with a massive five-times XP bonus for your first spin each day! Hatching Pokémon also provides double XP.

Beyond the increased encounter rates and XP bonuses, Adventure Week introduces new PokéStop Showcases and Collection Challenges rewarding you with Stardust, Pokémon encounters, and even more Aerodactyl Mega Energy.
