The Pokémon GO Tour: Unova event, scheduled for March 1st and 2nd (10 AM to 6 PM local time), will introduce the highly anticipated Black and White Kyurem. These legendary Pokémon will be available in raids, offering players a chance to catch both their standard and shiny forms. The event also features special in-game backgrounds inspired by Pokémon Black and White.
Black and White Kyurem's arrival in Pokémon GO has been highly anticipated. While a surprise early release occurred in 2023, their official debut within the Unova-themed event is a significant moment for fans. Their potential to reshape the game's meta adds to the excitement.
Fusion Frenzy:
Following the Necrozma fusion mechanics of last year, players can fuse Kyurem with other legendaries:
- Black Kyurem: Fuse with Zekrom using 1,000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy. Learns the move Freeze Shock.
- White Kyurem: Fuse with Reshiram using 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy. Learns the move Ice Burn.
Fusion energy is earned by defeating Kyurem in raids. Separating the fused forms is free.
Exclusive Rewards:
Completing these fusions unlocks unique event backgrounds inspired by Pokémon Black and White. Unlocking both fusions grants an additional, unique background.
