The excitement is palpable as the latest expansion, Shining Revelry, introduces shiny variants to Pokemon TCG Pocket, along with over 110 new cards. This update has me itching to use more Hourglasses for a 10-pack pull. The expansion brings dazzling new cards, including those from the Paldea region, enhancing the game's allure.
As soon as the update dropped, I couldn't resist spending a good chunk of my hard-earned Pack Hourglasses on ten packs. My luck paid off when I pulled a Charizard EX, though the rest of the haul was less exciting. However, pulling a Pokemon Center Lady card was a silver lining, as her ability to heal Special Conditions is a valuable asset when facing challenging conditions like Burns in battle.
Following the trend of previous expansions, Shining Revelry introduces an Emblem event, allowing you to earn stylish new badges to show off to your friends. Additionally, the new Ranked Matches feature will let you compete against other Trainers as you progress from Beginner to Master Ball Rank. Your points will be showcased, and at the end of the approximately one-month season, you'll receive an emblem as a testament to your skills.
This update has reignited my passion for the game, prompting me to dust off my dueling skills and start crafting competitive decks.
If you're eager to dive into the action, you can download Pokemon TCG Pocket for free on the App Store and Google Play, though it does include in-app purchases.
