Pokémon GO enthusiasts are in for a treat with the upcoming Pokémon GO Tour: Unova, scheduled from February 21-23, 2025. This event, inspired by the rich lore of Pokémon Black Version, Pokémon White Version, Pokémon Black Version 2, and Pokémon White Version 2, will be hosted at two vibrant locations: Los Angeles' Rose Bowl Stadium and New Taipei's Metropolitan Park.
Participants will explore themed habitats such as Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, and Autumn Masquerade, each teeming with Unova's native Pokémon. Trainers can also look forward to encountering different variants of shiny Deerling, influenced by the habitat and time of day.
Ticket holders in both New Taipei City and Los Angeles have the opportunity to encounter Shiny Meloetta through Masterwork Research. They can also hatch Shiny variants of Sigilyph, Bouffalant, and more. Field Research might reward lucky trainers with a shiny Pikachu sporting unique headwear.
The event will feature Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom as Five-Star Raid bosses, with Druddigon appearing in Three-Star Raids, and Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott in One-Star Raids, all with enhanced chances of shiny encounters.
Tickets are currently available at a discounted rate for a limited time. In Los Angeles, tickets are priced at $25 USD, while in New Taipei, they cost $630 NT. Enhance your experience with various ticket add-ons, which offer bonuses like an additional 5,000 XP after completing a raid.
The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time (PST for Los Angeles and GMT+8 for Taiwan). Attendees can also enjoy various booths and team lounges, offering exclusive merchandise and a place to unwind after a day of Pokémon adventures.
For those unable to attend in person, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global will be available on March 1-2, allowing all trainers to explore the Unova region for free.
Pokémon GO City Safari Launching This December 2024
Just over a week away, Pokémon GO City Safari is set to launch on December 7-8, 2024, in Hong Kong and São Paulo, Brazil. This citywide event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time, inviting ticket-holding trainers to join Professor Willow and Eevee in solving Pokémon mysteries.
Participants will receive a special Eevee wearing an explorer hat at the event's start. Evolving this Eevee into forms like Sylveon or Jolteon requires 25 Eevee candies, and the evolved Pokémon will retain the explorer hat. Through the Eevee Explorers Expedition, trainers can earn an additional Eevee with the same hat, totaling two.
During the event, unique Pokémon such as Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, Clamperl, and others will appear in the wild. Some Pokémon, including Oricorio (Pom-Pom Style and Sensu Style), Swablu, and Skiddo, can only be found by hatching eggs. The event location will also influence the types of Pokémon encountered.
To aid in exploration, maps will be provided, and participants will receive a Pikachu or Eevee visor to shield from the sun, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tickets for Pokémon GO City Safari are priced at R$45 in São Paulo and $10 USD in Hong Kong. Trainers can also purchase ticket add-ons for additional items and an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon.
