Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Dates, Locations, and More!
Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the information.
Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration
The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza held in three different cities:
- Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
- Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
- Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th
Further details will be released in March 2025. Remember, event details are subject to change, but we'll keep you updated.
This annual event offers exclusive in-game items, unique gameplay, and bonuses. In-person attendees enjoy city-wide exploration, special features, and exclusive merchandise. Rare Pokémon, including Shiny variants, will appear, making this a must-attend event for dedicated trainers.
Expect a similar structure to previous GO Fests, with exciting encounters and community engagement opportunities.
Two More Pokémon GO Events in January 2025
Beyond the GO Fest announcement, Niantic revealed two additional events:

Fashion Week: Taken Over: January 15th, 12:00 pm - January 19th, 8:00 pm (local time). Rescue Shadow Palkia, encounter debuting Pokémon Shroodle and Grafaiai (from 12km Eggs), and more. Look out for a fashionable Croagunk in snapshots!

Shadow Raid Day (Ho-Oh): January 19th, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm (local time). Participate in Five-Star Shadow Raids to catch Shadow Ho-Oh. A $5 USD ticket grants eight extra Raid Passes, increased chances for Rare Candy XL, 2x Stardust, 50% more XP from Raids, and a higher Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate. Lucky trainers can teach their Ho-Oh the signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
