May 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting month for Pokémon GO players, with a packed schedule of events and the much-anticipated return of the Lake Trio. This legendary trio will make a comeback in 5-Star Raids across various regions, adding a thrilling dimension to the gameplay.
What Does Pokémon GO Have in Store for May 2025?
Kicking off the month, Tapu Fini will grace Five-Star Raids from May 1st to May 12th, bringing with it the powerful move Nature's Madness and a chance to encounter its Shiny form.
Following that, starting on May 12th, the Lake Trio will make their appearance in raids, with regional exclusivity: Uxie in the Asia-Pacific, Mesprit in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, and Azelf in the Americas and Greenland.
After the Lake Trio, Tapu Bulu will take the stage in raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025, also featuring Nature's Madness and the possibility of encountering its Shiny variant.
For those interested in Mega Raids, May offers a robust lineup. Mega Houndoom will be available from May 1st to 12th, followed by Mega Gyarados from May 12th to 25th, and Mega Altaria from May 25th to June 3rd.

The month kicks off with the "Growing Up" event from May 2nd to 7th, complemented by a Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3rd. The "Crown Clash" event spans May 10th to 18th, with a special Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend happening on May 10th and 11th.
Community Day is set for May 11th, with the featured Pokémon yet to be revealed. "Crown Clash: Taken Over" will take place from May 14th to 18th, followed by a Shadow Raid Day on May 17th.
The "Final Strike: GO Battle Week" runs from May 21st to 27th, and May 24th will host the Community Day Classic. Wrapping up the month, a Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day is scheduled for May 25th, 2025.
