Pokémon Unite features six ranks, each subdivided into multiple classes for granular progression. Higher ranks naturally have more classes than lower ones. Crucially, rank progression only occurs in ranked matches—quick or standard matches won't contribute to your climb.

The Ranks of Pokémon Unite

  • Beginner Rank (3 Classes)
  • Great Rank (4 Classes)
  • Expert Rank (5 Classes)
  • Veteran Rank (5 Classes)
  • Ultra Rank (5 Classes)
  • Master Rank

Getting Started

Your ranked journey begins at Beginner Rank, requiring Trainer Level 6, a Fair Play score of 80, and five Pokémon licenses. Once you meet these requirements, you're ready to enter the ranked fray.

Performance Points and Diamond Points

Performance Points (PP) are earned in each ranked match, influenced by individual performance, sportsmanship, participation, and winning streaks. The PP earned ranges from 5-15 points per match, with additional bonuses for good sportsmanship (10 points), participation (10 points), and winning streaks (10-50 points). Each rank has a PP cap:

  • Beginner Rank: 80 Points
  • Great Rank: 120 Points
  • Expert Rank: 200 Points
  • Veteran Rank: 300 Points
  • Ultra Rank: 400 Points
  • Master Rank: N/A

Reaching the PP cap awards one Diamond Point (DP) per match, crucial for rank advancement. Four DPs elevate you to the next class within your rank. Maxing out your rank's classes propels you to the next rank. You gain one DP per ranked match win and lose one per loss.

Rewards and Advancement

Seasonal rewards in Pokémon Unite include Aeos Tickets, with higher ranks earning more. These tickets are used in the Aeos Emporium for purchases and upgrades. Specific ranks also offer unique rotating seasonal rewards.

Pokémon Unite is available now on mobile devices and Nintendo Switch. Sharpen your skills, strategize, and climb the ranks to claim victory and the best rewards!
