Gacha game enthusiasts are always eager to see how their favorite titles perform financially. January 2025's revenue figures are in, and they reveal some interesting trends.
Genshin Impact's major update, featuring the Pyro Archon and the highly anticipated Mawuika banner, proved incredibly successful. MiHoYo (HoYoverse) more than doubled its revenue, soaring from $45.6 million in December 2024 to a staggering $99.4 million in January 2025.

Trailing behind Genshin Impact, Pokémon TCG secured a strong second place with $64 million in revenue. Love and Deepspace, a popular "female gacha" title, rounded out the top three, generating $55.2 million.
Honkai: Star Rail experienced a dip in earnings, reaching $50.8 million. Zenless Zone Zero also saw a significant decline, with revenue halved from $57.9 million to $26.3 million.
It's important to note that these rankings reflect mobile platform revenue only. While some games, such as those from miHoYo, also have PC versions, this data focuses solely on mobile earnings. Furthermore, the data incorporates a methodology to account for the absence of Google Play in China, using a multiplier based on iOS revenue in that region to estimate Android earnings.
