The final day of the Six Invitational is always a highlight for Rainbow Six Siege fans, as Ubisoft traditionally unveils exciting new content. This year, they introduced Rauora, an innovative attack operator hailing from New Zealand. Rauora's standout feature is the DOM launcher, a bulletproof shield deployable exclusively in doorways, though it's susceptible to explosives. The shield's trigger mechanism adds a strategic layer to gameplay: when shot by an attacker, it takes just one second to open, whereas defenders face a three-second wait. This difference could prove pivotal, especially in scenarios where the defuser is in play.

Rauora also brings the Reaper MK2 to the game, a fully automatic pistol equipped with a red dot sight and an enlarged magazine. Players can choose between this new sidearm and her primary weapons, the M249 LMG or the 417 marksman rifle, offering versatile combat options.
Gamers can experience Rauora on the test servers starting next week, while her integration into the live version of Rainbow Six Siege will follow shortly after.
