The popular PvP Roblox shooter Rivals has launched Update 9, introducing the innovative Gunblade weapon and Bridge map to expand gameplay options.
Nosniy Games outlined these additions in today's patch notes, offering players fresh content while developers prepare future updates. Though lighter on changes than recent patches, this update delivers compelling reasons to dive back into the action.

The Gunblade perfectly complements Rivals' gun-focused gameplay, functioning as both a rifle and melee weapon. This dual-purpose arm allows strategic playstyles, particularly effective on the new Bridge map's tight corridors. Set in Seoul with minimal cover - just concrete barriers and a bus - this arena by creator @GreatGuyBoom forces immediate confrontations.
Notably absent are bug fixes or balance adjustments in Update 9. Developers prioritized the Bridge map and Gunblade while making minor cosmetic changes to the Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi skins, plus renaming certain Vexed-series items. The team confirms Ranked mode remains their next major priority.
"We're listening to all feedback and guarantee necessary improvements will arrive alongside Ranked," developers stated.
Since its May launch, Rivals has maintained consistent updates like July's introduction of energy weapons. For the latest codes and complete Update 9 patch notes, see below.
