Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5: Leaks Suggest a Permanent Bangboo Dress-Up Mode
Recent leaks suggest a new, potentially permanent game mode is coming to Zenless Zone Zero in Version 1.5: a Bangboo dress-up event. This follows Version 1.4's additions of new S-Rank characters (Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa, the latter being free) and two permanent combat-focused game modes.
The leaked "Bangboo Beauty Contest" event centers on customizing the outfits of Eous, the game's mascot Bangboo. Reliable leaker Flying Flame shared screenshots showcasing various clothing items for players to mix and match. While the dress-up mode itself will reportedly become a permanent fixture, event-specific rewards will be time-limited. Rumors suggest this event may also introduce a long-awaited skin for Nicole Demara.
Beyond the dress-up mode, other leaks hint at a temporary platformer game mode in Version 1.5. This aligns with HoYoverse's history of incorporating non-combat permanent game modes in other titles, such as Honkai: Star Rail's cocktail-making and Genshin Impact's card game.
HoYoverse has officially confirmed the arrival of new S-Rank characters Astra Yao and Evelyn, a new area, and a new main story chapter in Version 1.5, slated for release on January 22nd. Further details are expected soon.
