Launched in 2023, the G3 is one generation behind the latest model (as no "G5" TV has been released yet), but it still outshines every other TV in LG's lineup, including other OLED models, with the exception of the 2024 G4. The LG G-series OLED surpasses the C-series in performance. Both feature an "Evo" panel that's brighter than traditional W-OLED TVs, but the G-series takes it a step further with MLA (micro lens array) technology, which boosts brightness even more. This technology adds to the cost but elevates image quality to match or even surpass that of Samsung's quantum dot OLED TVs.
OLED TVs are widely regarded as the best TVs available today. They offer superior image quality, deeper blacks, better contrast ratios, a wider color gamut, and incredibly fast response times compared to traditional LED LCD TVs.
