Dive into the captivating world of Scarlet Girls, a brand-new idle RPG where you command a squad of technologically enhanced mecha waifus. Set in the 119th year of the Old Euro Calendar, humanity teeters on the brink of extinction, ravaged by catastrophic events that mutated animals into powerful beings. As one of humanity's last hopes, your mission is to recruit and train these mecha girls, battling catastromechs to restore peace to Earth. This beginner's guide will illuminate the core mechanics and game modes, empowering your progression.
Understanding Scarlet Girls' Combat Mechanics
Scarlet Girls offers a completely idle, casual combat experience. Battles unfold in a turn-based system, with allies and enemies acting based on their Speed stat. Each round concludes when all participants have taken their turns. You can deploy five characters, utilizing the convenient Quick Dispatch feature to automatically optimize your formation based on strongest characters. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the thrilling special ability animations!
Your characters, known as "Stellaris," possess powerful active and passive abilities automatically deployed in combat. Each skill has a cooldown timer. Strategic squad building is key to maximizing your Stellaris' strengths. Combat happens in real-time, with no player intervention during battles. The strategy lies entirely in deploying powerful characters and crafting synergistic lineups.

Each Stellaris belongs to one of four classes, defining their utility:
- Paladins: High armor, drawing enemy fire and protecting teammates.
- Support: Healers and support characters providing utility from the backline.
- Devastator: High damage dealers specializing in energy attacks.
- Assaulter: Physical damage dealers wielding bladed weapons.
Echo: The Gacha System of Scarlet Girls
Recruiting Stellaris is done through the gacha system, "Echo." Stellaris come in various rarities: R, SR, SSR, and SSR+. Higher rarity equals stronger base stats (Attack, Defense, HP) and more powerful abilities.
At launch, the "Normal Echo" banner offers R-SSR Stellaris. Use Echo tickets or Diamonds to summon. An SSR character is guaranteed within 40 summons. Each summon awards 20 Echo points; 2000 points lets you summon a random SSR from the four elemental banners (excluding Nebula). Check your progress on the Echo system's right-hand side. Rarity recruitment probabilities are:
- R Stellaris: 19.979% (per individual R character)
- SR Stellaris: 2.667% (per individual SR character)
- SSR Stellaris: 0.133% (per individual SSR character)
- SSR+ Stellaris: 0.010% (per individual SSR+ character)
