Warcraft Rumble's Season 9 update is here, and it's packed with exciting content as the game celebrates its one-year anniversary, which aligns with the latter part of the season. Blizzard might even tease into Season 10 during the anniversary festivities. After all, who wouldn't want to celebrate 'one year and ten seasons'?
So, What’s In Store?
The highlight of Season 9 is the introduction of Ysera, the latest Cenarion Leader to join Warcraft Rumble. Ysera brings a unique twist to the gameplay; you can't directly control her as she slumbers in the Emerald Dream. However, her presence grants you access to four new Minis.
Ysera's Emerald Minis feature Innervate and Hibernate. Innervate is a spell that provides four bonus gold over ten seconds, while Hibernate can put enemies to sleep for eight seconds, though they'll awaken if damaged.
The Ysera Mini Event, running until October 15th, allows you to unlock her and her powerful abilities. By completing challenges, you'll earn tickets that can be exchanged for Cenarion Tomes, Ysera Stars, and G.R.I.D Overrides. Make sure to grab Ysera before she becomes available in the G.R.I.D in Season 10.
Season 9 Also Brings Some Fun New Emotes To Warcraft Rumble
Season 9 introduces the Angry Chicken Emote, which you can earn as a PvP reward. The Banshee Scream Emote, on the other hand, can be obtained through the guild War Chest.
Hallows End will see the Headless Horseman make an appearance in Warcraft Rumble Season 9. Completing challenges during this event will reward you with bat-themed items, new Minis, cosmetics, and other eerie treats.
There’s also a new siege to anticipate. You’ll have the opportunity to lay siege to Ironforge, facing off against dwarf assassins in the vault, battle Mekkatorque in the Deeprun Tram, and confront Magni Bronzebeard in the throne room.
For those tracking the event schedule, here’s the rundown: Stormwind Siege runs from October 9-15, and Molten Core takes place from October 23-29. You can download Warcraft Rumble from the Google Play Store.
