Seasun Games has just released the latest update for Snowbreak: Containment Zone, dubbed the Abyssal Dawn, bringing a fresh wave of excitement with new characters, outfits, and a slew of engaging events. Here’s everything you need to know to fully immerse yourself in the new content.
The Abyssal Dawn Has Begun in Snowbreak: Containment Zone
The update introduces Nerida – Styx Envoy, a new character wielding an assault rifle. Her Ultimate ability is particularly noteworthy as it continues to deal damage even when she's off the field. On the other hand, Nita – Pulse focuses on thermal damage with a shotgun, designed for skill-based players and featuring an intriguing new QTE mechanic.
Alongside the new characters, a variety of stylish outfits have been added. Nerida sports the Dawn’s Command, while Nita dazzles in the Sylvan Spirit. Nita’s Grove of Secrets bundle is a special package that includes an outfit, a weapon skin, and an interactive scene, enhancing the player's experience.
Other characters are getting makeovers too. Katya – Dawnwing now wears Classy Elegance, and Bubu – The Geomancer is ready for a checkup in Vitality Checkup. Fenny – Starshine arrives in the vibrant Nitro Nova, and Yao – Winter Solstice dons Tidy Marksmaid, a nod to the community after her previous swimsuit outfit faced censorship.
Tons of Events to Dive Into
The event lineup starts with Pulse Puzzle, a permanent event launching today. It allows players to unlock Nita early by solving in-game puzzles, which are intricately linked to her backstory, adding depth to the gameplay.
Next up, on April 28th, is Emotional Purge, running until May 29th, 2025. This event introduces 3D cover shooter gameplay, complete with cover vaulting and smooth motion effects, offering a fresh take on the game’s mechanics.
Starting May 1st, Nita’s Invitation becomes available, also as a permanent event. It offers the chance to unlock Nita’s maxed-out Auctus Drive, her signature weapon, and a fixed-talent logistics squad, all for free.
