Sony has released new updates for both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, enhancing various functionalities of these popular gaming consoles.
For the PlayStation 5, the update version 25.02-11.00.00, which is approximately 1.3GB in size, brings several improvements. One of the key enhancements is to the activities feature, where activity details are now fully displayed on cards, while potential spoilers remain concealed to enhance the user experience. Additionally, the update introduces support for Unicode 16.0 emojis, allowing for more expressive communication in messages. There are also updates to parental controls; when the restriction level is set to Late Teens or Older, Communication and User-Generated Content will now default to Restrict. However, if this level was previously set, it will be shown as Customize without affecting the existing settings. As always, Sony has also focused on improving the system software's performance and stability, along with enhancing messages and usability on various screens.
