Crafting the Staff of Ice: A Step-by-Step Guide
The Staff of Ice requires three components: the Monocle, the Head Piece, and the Staff itself.
1. Obtaining the Monocle:
Eliminate the first Shock Mimic encountered in a match. The Monocle will drop; interact with it to add it to your inventory.
2. Obtaining the Head Piece:
- Locate the Mural: Go to the Neolithic Catacombs and find the wall with the cave painting. If the wall isn't illuminated, activate Dark Aether lanterns until one is positioned near the mural.
- Solve the Puzzle: Shoot the Roman numerals on the illuminated wall in ascending order (I to X). Incorrect shots don't reset progress; simply continue from the last correctly hit numeral. Use a standard bullet weapon to avoid accidental misfires.
- Survive the Lockdown: Completing the puzzle triggers a lockdown. Defend yourself until it ends to claim the Head Piece.
3. Obtaining the Staff Piece:
- Locate the Mural: Proceed to the Tombs room and find the Bull Mural (head facing left). Use Dark Aether lanterns to illuminate the Roman numerals on the wall.
- Solve the Puzzle: Shoot the Roman numerals in ascending order (I to VIII).
