Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl's SEVA-V Armor: A Free Early-Game Powerhouse
Stalker 2 offers a range of armor suits to enhance player survival within The Zone's hazardous environment. The SEVA-V suit, a standout among the SEVA series, is a particularly valuable piece of free equipment obtainable early in the game. Its significant PSI protection makes it a highly sought-after find. This guide details how to acquire it.
Locating the SEVA-V Suit
The SEVA-V armor is located at the Scientist Helicopter Point of Interest (POI) in Stalker 2's Rostok region. This POI is situated southwest of the Rostok base, in a large field containing a crashed helicopter within an Electro anomaly and a large, rusty crane. Reaching the suit requires some climbing.
Accessing the Crane and Retrieving the Armor
Upon arriving at the Scientist Helicopter POI, you'll see the crashed helicopter (within the Electro anomaly) to the right and a ladder leading up the rusty crane to the left. Before climbing, use your artifact detector to locate and retrieve an Electro-type artifact from the anomalous field near the helicopter – this will be beneficial.
Climb the crane's ladder. Once at the top, proceed right across the crane to the operator's cabin on the left. Carefully jump the gap and enter the cabin. Inside, you'll find a bag containing valuable supplies and the SEVA-V armor. Retrace your steps to descend the crane.
SEVA-V Suit Stats and Potential Uses
The SEVA-V suit can be upgraded by Screw, the technician at the Rostok base. It allows for the insertion of up to four artifacts and provides excellent radiation protection along with good PSI protection. If you already possess superior armor, selling the SEVA-V suit can yield a substantial amount of in-game currency.
