Saber Interactive has reassured its fanbase that all announced projects remain in active development, despite a noticeable lack of updates on highly anticipated titles like the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) remake. In the wake of confirming Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3, Chief Creative Officer Tim Willits emphasized via Twitter that every project mentioned by the studio is still progressing.
"Saber Interactive is among the largest independent developers globally," Willits stated. "We are currently engaged in multiple games spanning various genres. Everything we've discussed remains in development. We'll unveil details about upcoming titles when we have exciting news to share."

After changing hands several times, the project appeared to stall and restart multiple times. As of April 2024, CEO Matthew Karch confirmed that the game had moved with Saber Interactive following its separation from Embracer Group and remains in active development.
"Rest assured, we're fully committed to this project," Karch noted. "Despite the challenges, our team is dedicated to delivering a game that surpasses consumer expectations."
Willits' recent remarks echo Karch's assurance but offer little tangible progress regarding the KOTOR remake. Even after over four years since its announcement, fans have yet to see anything beyond the initial teaser video.
Saber Interactive has other projects in the pipeline, including John Carpenter's Toxic Commando and Jurassic Park Survival, both scheduled for 2025 but lacking concrete release dates. Additionally, the studio is working on a new Turok game and an undisclosed Avatar: The Last Airbender title. Space Marine 3 further adds to their lineup, with potential features and factions explored in IGN's related article.
