Stardew Valley's highly anticipated 1.6 update finally arrives on mobile devices on November 4th, 2024! Console and mobile players can now enjoy this massive update, originally released on PC in March 2024.
What's New in Stardew Valley 1.6 Mobile?
This update significantly expands the game's features. A key addition is online multiplayer support for up to eight players, doubling the previous limit. Collaborate with friends on farming, fishing, and construction projects!
New fishing festivals, the Trout Derby and SquidFest, join the existing seasonal events, adding more excitement to the calendar. The Meadowlands farm map offers a fresh environment for livestock and fishing. Over 100 new NPC dialogues enrich interactions with the townsfolk.
Expect a plethora of new items: a Big Chest (nearly twice the capacity of a standard chest), a dehydrator for preserving produce, a heavy furnace, and a bait maker for targeted fishing. Over 25 new hats and furniture styles enhance customization. Complete quests and festivals to earn prize tickets redeemable at a machine in Lewis's house.
Multiple pet ownership is now possible after maxing out your initial pet's affection. Pets may bring gifts, and you can even accessorize them with hats! NPCs sport winter attire, adding seasonal flair.
A golden Joja parrot assists in finding the remaining golden walnuts on Ginger Island. New crops include carrots, summer squash, broccoli, powdermelon, and two giant crop varieties.
Reasons for the Delay
The developers prioritized thorough testing on PC to identify and resolve any bugs before releasing the update on mobile and consoles. The wait is finally over!
