Stellar Blade, the debut non-gacha title from Shift Up in the US, has garnered attention for its challenging soulslike gameplay, stunning graphics, and captivating soundtrack. Not to mention, it's also known for its provocative character design.
In our detailed review, Mitchell Saltzman praised Stellar Blade as a "gorgeous and well-crafted action game" that excels in its Sekiro-inspired combat system. He noted the game's ability to engage players with a variety of monstrous foes and hidden treasures that encourage exploration. However, he pointed out some shortcomings in the story, characters, and certain RPG elements, particularly the repetitive side quests.
